As we enter the holiday season, Coast Containers is excited to kick off our Annual Holiday Food Drive! This campaign brings our team and community together, united in our commitment to support those in need. From November 1 to December 6, we’re raising funds to provide essential support to food banks across Canada.
Demand for food banks has reached record-breaking levels across the country. According to Food Banks Canada, nearly 2 million Canadians rely on food banks each month, underscoring the critical need for resources and assistance. Every donation to our Holiday Food Drive will help to address these immediate needs and fund long-term solutions to reduce food insecurity across Canada.
At Coast Containers, we’re rallying around this cause with friendly competition! Each year, our parent company, Make Space, and our sister brands join forces in four teams—Team West, Team East, Team Woodbridge, and Team HQ—each competing to make the biggest difference. This lighthearted challenge drives our efforts and helps us maximize our collective impact on communities across Canada.
We’re thrilled to announce that every dollar donated to our Holiday Food Drive will go twice as far! Make Space will match all financial donations up to $20,000, effectively doubling each contribution. This means your donation will have an even greater impact, helping food banks provide vital support to individuals and families in need this holiday season.
